14/6/08 - monday

sore throat came the previous night. woke up 6.30am . went off with sis. flu came with running nose (i hate running noses cause mucus will tend to run down ur nostrils. zzz) . started to sneeze. didnt end. reach school. headache came. didnt wanna go home. cough came later when going to rashimi class. i tell you ah. SHE SUCK. GO BACK INDIA LA. zzz. she said finish lab work can go back. na bei. i finish alr she ask me go help people. i say i sick and i nid go home see doctor she say cannot go. wtf? if i landed in hospital i definitley will sue her for attempt murder sia cb. . headache worsen . fever came. she finally let us go @ 5.10pm. take train back. saw eunice lai :D

walk to northpoint with her. then i went to guardian to buy panadol extra strong and panadol cold & flu. then went to buy d-link modem cause my 2wire modem burned. then went hme. cant get modem to work. call singnet people. still cant solve. they say 2morrow morning ask people come down check. ate dinner. ate 2 xtra strong and 2 flu panadol @ 6.30pm. watch tv till 10pm. took another 2xtra strong and 2 flu panadol. still none of the problems went away. slpt @ 1am

15/7/08 - tuesday

dread to wake up. everytime u wake up , ur throat is dry + sore throat = pain. sore throat is there. cough is there. flu and running nose is there. headache is still there but... FEVER IS GONE. [:
the singnet guy came @ 10.30am. he is a blardy noob i tell you. he used my modem and try connect internet cannot. then he take out his mio 2wire modem and test then can surf the net. his conclusion " i think your modem spoil" . i immediatley left for cyberactive ( where i brought my modem from ) @ northpoint after the guy left arnd 11.30. i went there and i ask the guy check. after 90mins of headache waiting where i felt lky fainting , the guy showed me there was no problem with the modem and its perfectly fine and he can surf the net. so i guess my phone line was the problem. so i went back. saw rachel mei mei goin back to kimage to work (: miss you . haha.
reach hme , popped another 2 tablets in. called the d-link people. their customer service was lky 10000000000 times better than singnet. kthxbye. was happily surfing and watchin tv till 11pm when my sis was lky "dennis can you surf the internet?" then i was lky "erm no?" ok. SINGNET PROBLEM AGAIN. zzz. this isnt the 1st time that had happen yo. went to bed. was feeling abit better.

16/7/08 - wednesday.

woke up at 8.30am. internet still cant work. hang arnd and read newspaper and went off to school. class @ 12pm . had some sexuality education talk. next week still got part 2. went off to peninsular with syafiq to get my electric guitar. thks buddy for helping out alot.. told my dad i brought the electric guitar and he was lky "YOU REALLY GO BUY AH?" lky duh... i've been sayin i wanna buy for 2 weeks alr. ok

30th June 2008 - Day 1.

left house at 1pm. bus 969 to tampanies and met up with shafiq and firduas. mr ben came and help us ferry 3 of our luggage to chalet. thanks. reached chalet at excatly 3pm ( time of reporting ) . but not alot of people. majority are late. all came arnd 4pm. so during the 1 hour period , me , firduas , farhan , shafiq went to explore o.c.h ( old changi hospital ) . its just behind my chalet. imagine at night when u go to the kitchen and see through the window and you see the hospital . errie creepy.

4pm started our introductions and briefing bout the camp objectives. done that went to rooms. free and easy for the rest of the day. room was damn fulled. imagine 10 people in a bedroom of a hdb flat. a so i banished myself to the living room and sofa as my bed. barbecue @ 6pm. otah , satay , chicken wing , fishball , fried rice , kueh tupat .

went back to o.c.h on the following time. 8.30pm - 10pm , 1am - 2.10am

7am woke up for excerise. i dun nid do. hehe. camp photographer (:

after that was erm... let me tink. had a bit of games/activities then went to had lunch @ changi village arnd 12pm. headed back to chalet arnd 1.30pm and slack arnd. 2pm - 6pm is ISDF ( some leadership thing ) . had lots of fun during that activity. played a few games and after that is barbecue again. eat eat eat. 9-10.30pm was doing reflection for the day. after that free and easy all the way. the barbecue crew went back to bbq again. we had a bbq party @ 3am. lots of satay with otah and chicken wings and 1 big pot of satay sauce. slpt at 5am. woke up at 7am.

2nd June 2008

did everything and prepare for the trip of the camp that im lookin forward to! To Pulau ubin!! went to subway at changi village with the barbecue gang to get our branch ( breakfast + lunch ) .
10.30 met up at changi jetty. bumpboat-ed to pulau ubin. approx. 2clicks hike to an old kampung house.reached arnd 12pm. had our lunch there and did some team activities before goin off free and easy arnd 2pm. barbecue gang went trekking with mr ben and christian to see a scenery on a quarry. others went off to rent bicycles and roam arnd. had alot alot of fun . we sang songs and joke arnd with each other . went back to singapore at 5pm. free and easy back at singapore. some went off for dinner at changi village while some head back to chalet to slack arnd. gathered together at 9pm for a debrief + reflection + activities till 11.30pm before free and easy again.

3rd June 2008

barbecue gang went to barbecue till 3am. we slack , talk , joke , sing and other funny stuffs. they head back to bed at 4.30am. went to bathe and slack in the living room with some other girls then play monopoly till 6.30am before they went back to their room. went i stepp-ed into my room , its lky entering a snoring heaven. snoring is everywhere. from all 4 corners and on bed. its so noisy. just imagine u're in the middle of ur hi-5 set system. tsktsk. so i went back down to the living room and ton. meiting came down and chit chat with me while watching channel newsasia. was too tired and chit chat until i fall asleep arnd 7.30am( heh. sorry ah meiting. lol ) . then they woke me up at 9am to clear and packed up everything before bookout. before booking out got some mini prize presentation for the best grp during the camp. and a token of appreciation for me as a camp photographer. went back with mr ben , christian and jason.

reached hme at 11.30am. used com for 1 hour before i knocked-out. woke up at 7pm.

bowling 2dae. was ultra bad. 122 on my 3rd game. dun wish to mention others. my dad got a 197. sian. kk then got this fat guy ( not really that fat. but fatter than me by 4times at least ) that look lky 16 or 18years old. keep on hao lian cause his lane beside me only. strike only then look at me stare stare. feel lky puching him IN DA GOD DAMN FACE. wad a fucker.

kk and o dear. the picture of a few army guys on my blog , they're from navy seals fireteam 1 and 2 that took part in Operation Redwing which was a tragic event. the 2nd guy on the left standing up wearing black shades and a cap and look lky a chinese and is holding a m-14 sniper rifle , he is my fren's cousin's (my fren cousin is still serving in the navy seals) fren. that guy is a korean and was in the navy seals. died on June 25, 2005 during operation red wing. he got K.I.A ( killed in action ) .he was in 1 of the nightstalker helicopter that was suppose to rescue the squad of 4. got shot down by a RPG.all 16 crew members in that chopper died.

4 members from navy seals fire team 1 was inserted in a undisclosed location in afghanistan. their objective was to do recon and capture a high ranking terrorist leader. somehow they got spotted. they fought hard. against more than 200 insurgents. killing 100 and wounding more than another 100. in the end 3 of them got k.i.a (2 on the far right wearing shades in my blog picture) and only 1 manage to survive and made it out.he was rescued by 1 of the villagers that live nearby. 1 of the k.i.a (l.t michael)was awarded the medal of honour ( highest medal in united states ) and the other 2 k.i.a was awarded the navy cross ( 2nd hightest military medal in the united states ). the 2 of them was mentioned in george w.bush speech to the citizens of the united states.

just finished watch a movie. 5.30am now.

Battle of Haditha. very very nice movie. wasnt shown in singapore for some reason i guessed.

The Plot -
An investigation of the massacre of 24 men, women and children in Haditha, Iraq allegedly shot by 4 U.S. Marines in retaliation for the death of a U.S. Marine killed by a roadside bomb. The movie follows the story of the Marines of Kilo Company, an Iraqi family, and the insurgents who plant the roadside bomb.
The film tells the story of the events of November 19, 2005, when a troop of US Marines exact revenge for an earlier attack which killed one of their number in the Iraqi town of Haditha.The Film focuses on three different viewpoints, the first of Iraqi insurgents, which in this case isn't some mad Mullah but an old man, who we learn is an ex-Army officer and his son. The second focuses on a Corporal Ruiz, a young Marine who you feel wants to be anywhere but Iraqi and the finally the film focuses on a young Iraqi couple and their extended family.The film is shot Cinéma-vérité style and at times is very harrowing. But it's to Broomfields credit that he to my mind he doesn't simply demonize the US soldiers. Instead you get to understand how young men put in a situation that you the viewer couldn't understand let alone cope with, could just lose it after a comrade is killed. Likewise, in the films portrayal of the insurgent fighters Broomfield manages to make you think what would you do, if, as in the film, your a professional soldier made jobless by a an Occupying force. How do you feed your family, and wouldn't you feel some resentment to the occupation forces for making you jobless. But it's in the Iraqi families, caught between the US forces and the Insurgents that the film is at it's best. They can't do the right thing for doing wrong. It is they who bear the brunt of either Insurgency retaliation or US Forces heavy-handedness.

yessssssssssss. my 10 weeks prepartory course in ite has finally ended. i'll be missing you guys especially those from i.t course! although im gonna be in a different class from you peeps , hopefully we get the same class schedule and we can lunch together as normal again! its really sad when we just got to know each other really well and became best of friends like danial , hamizan , hairul , haz , nasri , marrisa , sheema , joy . fret not , we're still in the same ite. woke up at 7.30am. got ready for skool. went out 2gether with mum to mrt station. then went to take mrt. was late again by 10mins. but didnt missed anythin cause mr matthew havent start. did presentation skill 2dae. mr matthew say im very good ^.^ . im quite surprise that when it was my turn every1 was lky dennis! Dennis! DENNIS! . ahaha. wow suddenly every1 noes me. im freakin happy can. friendship is born here!
released at 12pm. went to canteen to eat with sakthi , calvin , emson and jeremy. then left at 12.30. train to yio chu kang for nyp open house and just to particulary see somebody (: . reached nyp @ 2pm. called benedict and he pon his class just to take me arnd. so nice of him. actualli he was bout to go hme anyway cause he said he doesnt felt lky studying. lol. went rnd and rnd. he took me to the sports hall tooo. ok then slack arnd till 4.30pm. shi tinggg called and went down to meet herrr~ then after that accompany her go train to khatib then take bus to airport to see her fren offfffff~ then came hme and do my stuffs.

typical bad morning.

woke up at 7.45 wif stomache. sit in toilet till 8am
change and rush out of hse.
went to take mrt.
reach yew tee mrt station , gotta use the toilet there cause cannot tahan anymore. lky kena stab by 50000 knives in the stomach. was 8.40 already. class starts at 9am.
ok then 9am go up mrt station again. was in a rush. so i blur blur took the wrong side train goin towards marina bay. i was lky erm since when did woodlands come after yew tee. zzz. got off at woodlands. take jurong east 1. reached bouna vista at 9.30am. went to bus stop. bus ran off. stomach got stabbed by 999999 knives again. no choice. flag cab. reach ite , chiong toilet. 10am go in class. eng teacher was nice. mr matthew wong ^^. very very nice teacher yeah. felt pity for him when he told us he almost died 5 years ago where he was involved in a motorbike accident. bone in every part of the body crushed. and his nose spilt *omg*
then he went through more than 200 x-rays and 18 surgeries. WOW. and he's leg was shorten by 5cm. went through another surgery to do bone lengthening. this time grown by 4cm. so missed by 1 cm. sad.
everything was real. he showed us all the scars and u could actualli see him limping when he is walking.
i felt touch-ed that he didnt gave up on life. and went on through his qoute "tomrrow is a better day".

after that released for lunch @ 12pm. chiong my food cause was kena stab by 1000000 knives in the stomach. chiong toilet again. lol. 12.45 met mr sam. got ready to go dragonboating @ changi . i went there to help take photo cause i didnt join-ed in. was raining anyway (:

then bus sent us to dover mrt. and took e mrt. sms xinling along e way back hme ^^. she says mrs matthews have a secksy butt. LOL. its big la yes. LOL. reach-ed khatib. met dad and ate dinner. came hme use com until nw. goin to bathe and get ready for 2morrow again. class at 9am. release at 12pm. and its english lesson!

take mrt to bouna vista and change bus. omg 45-50mins @.@ slp in train. lol

1st day went there. suppose to report at 8am. the lecture-ers came at 9am. z. proceed to multi purpose hall and listen to tok and introductions to the school till fall asleep ( cant blame. early morning in air condition-ed hall). didnt know any1 . not a single northland-er. craps. then no pretty girls also. only got lky 6 girls in my class. 2 of them are chinese.
lecture-rer released us earli @ 3pm when its suppose to be 3.30pm.

2nd day same thing happened. lecture-rer appear at 9am. made us wait for 1 hour. zzz. fill in form and stuffs. then went for cca selection. was crap./ cant find the bowling club. and i went to ask 1 p.e teacher . he say the bowling club will "pop" out only when theres a tournament coming. wtf. in the end join-ed D-tech ( info com club. computers computers and more computers ) my class chinese boys all joined together cause we tot that its rather revalant to our course and might help us along the way (:

orientation has finished. well was great though. manage to almost become fren with whole class now. (:
class-room are air-conditioned! yes.
and my timetable suck big time la.

yeah~ just finsh-ed watching 30days of night. i rate it 8/10 for overall. best vampire movie other than Blade 1,2 and 3. was rather violence watching head being chopp-ed off and vampires attacking people. in the end the main character guy die-d cause he wanted to save his ex-lover and became a vampire to fight the leader of the vampire.

okkkkkkk. im offically working as a part-timer yesterday at e-2max CATHAY @ doby ghaut. yep. was quite shiok ah. sit there mann the cashier register. then watch people play game. 1 bad thing , after closing , gotta do the paper work. the finanicial things and stuffs urgh. my shi fu was teaching me and tell me if some money lost (which he kena a few times dunnoe how come also) , either u top-up urself or will be deducted from the pay. wth laa. im not gonna do that financial report man. zzz.

im back from prommmm. oh yeah. it was a bang. haha.
durin the prom , recieved a call with malaysia country code +60. was wondering who was it. but the only person in malaysia have my no. was her and 2 of her frens. was wondering who was it. haha.

why why why. alot of people ask me. am i crazy? why do i wanna join the u.s army? why do i wanna get deploy and go to iraq? why? for me the answer is simple. army is my passion and what i love since childhood . im sure every single of you my fren noes im crazy bout guns and stuffs.singapore army has nothing to do. no deployments and shit cause they wanna stay a "neutral" country. o well. i wanna join the u.s army cause to fight for freedom and protect every single innocent lives in the world and everyone that i love.

i did some enquiries and ask some of them who had experience in the u.s army and here their reply.

Hey man. No, those numbers aren't exactly true anymore. A lot of people quit or fail, but it's not that bad. My SFAS (Special Forces Assessment and Selection) class had about 350 guys and we finished with about 128. So you'll have a better chance than you might think. Are you currently in the military? It sounds like you're going to enlist under the 18X program. If you do, you'll go to OSUT (One-stop unit training, which combines basic with infantry school), then to airborne school, then to SOPC (Special Operations Phasing and Conditioning), then to SFAS. If you pass SFAS, then you'll go to the Q-course to complete your training. If you don't pass selection, then you'll be assigned to an infantry unit until you're able to try out again, typically a year. Airborne school is pretty easy for the most part. I mean, not to sound sexist, but chicks pass that course all of the time. Just be able to run. The two keys to success in SF are being able to run and ruck. Also, being good at land navigation helps as well. Overall, just keep in the best physical shape you can.Let me know if you have more questions. I've been out of SF for a couple of years, and I know some things have changed, but not too much.

Good to hear, I hope everything works out for you.The Marines are a lot easier to get into than Special Forces. Training for the Marine Corps is about a little over three months. The Army has a better infantry program then the Marines, better equipment too. If you're considering an Infantry career, I'd look into Army infantry rather than Marines.

Yes. Army infantry gets deployed as much as Marines. In the Army you can be deployed in about 8 months from the very start of your training. It could vary from unit to unit. Same with the Marines.

and the last 1

There are a lot of combat infantry units and a lot of airborne infantry units. They perform all types of combat operations, from patrolling to raids. All types of sea, air, and land operations. In Iraq, infantry units patrol the streets hunting insurgents and they're also flown by helocopter to particular locations to raid houses with suspected high-value targets. You can be in the infantry, airborne infantry, and in SF if you have glasses and can't see 20/20, so that's not a problem. I don't know any recruiters with msn, sorry. You should be able to find an SF recruiter in the internet if you're interested though.
